Eugenie Pastor

I am an artist, performer, musician and theatre-maker, based in London and originally from France.

I am one half of She Goat, which I co-founded with Shamira Turner in 2014. She Goat is a Franglais duo intent on blurring the territories of theatre and live music, extravagant multi-tasking and disrupting gender expectations. We created DoppelDänger, The Undefinable, The Curious Hearts Song Club and a podcast version of The Undefinable. We seek innovative ways to make their work accessible to visually impaired audiences.

I am an Associate Artist at Little Bulb Theatre, whom I joined in 2009, and I co-devised and performed in many of the company’s award-winning shows, including: The Future, Orpheus, Squally Showers, Operation Greenfield, Sporadical, and most of Little Bulb’s cabaret and band incarnations. I have been working with Little Bulb on recent R&Ds including: Mirror, La Tarantella and Listen/Dance.

I am also a freelance performer and theatre-maker, and I have collaborated with Lewis Gibson, Tom Penn, Edith Tankus, DARKFIELD, and new circus companies Barely Methodical and Camille Boitel / L’Immédiat.

My work has been shown at Battersea Arts Centre, Soho Theatre, The Shed / National Theatre, Salzburg Festival (Austria), Brisbane Festival (Australia), West Yorkshire Playhouse, Millenium Centre Cardiff, Bristol Old Vic, Shoreditch Town Hall, Southbank Centre, Latitude and Wilderness Festivals, among others.

I have a PhD in Drama and Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London, and I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Performance at London South Bank University.
